Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Delicious LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with the Tasteful mobile application (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
Tasteful lets people browse restaurants and dishes near them, and lets verified restaurant representatives create an account to add their restaurant, scan menus, and upload dish photos. We collect only the data needed to provide these features.
1. Information We Collect

We do not use advertising identifiers, we do not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
2. How We Use Information
- To create and authenticate restaurant accounts and verify email ownership.
- To show restaurants and dishes near your location and to return relevant search results.
- To process menu photos and extract dish names so they can be added to a menu (see Section 3 regarding AI processing).
- To store and display the dish and menu photos you upload.
- To send service-related emails, such as account verification and registration confirmations.
- To respond to support requests you send us.
- To maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers listed below, who process it on our behalf to operate the App. Each is bound by agreements requiring it to protect your information and to provide a level of protection equivalent to that described in this policy.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the public.
4. Data Retention
We keep account information and the content you add (such as menus and dish photos) for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. When you delete your account, we delete the personal information associated with it, except where we must retain certain information for legitimate purposes such as security, fraud prevention, or compliance with legal obligations. We retain that information only for as long as those purposes require.
5. Your Choices and Rights
- Permissions: You can grant or revoke location, camera, and photo access at any time in your device settings.
- Requests by email: You may contact us at the address in Section 9 to access, correct, or delete your information.
Region-specific rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights:
- EEA/UK (GDPR): rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and data portability.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): rights to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information appropriately.
7. Children’s Privacy
Tasteful is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. International Users
We are based in the United States, and the information we collect may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the App, you understand that your information may be transferred to locations that may have different data-protection rules than your country.

10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above and post the updated policy at this URL. Significant changes will be communicated through the App or by other appropriate means.
